About Us
For over 12 years, The Actors Center has made
a significant difference in the lives and artistic ambitions of
many of our most talented American actors. It was established
on the concept that artists need to continue to develop their
craft in relation to their growth as human beings. Many of our
best actors no longer work in the theatre. They work primarily
in film and television, where they can earn a living. Theatre,
however, is an art form within which the actor is forced to continue
to grow as an artist. The Actors Center links an actor's practical
life to the creative demands and artistic standards of the theatre.
